Aerial Mapping

MoraySky uses the latest aerial mapping techniques to produce sophisticated maps and overhead photographs for farms and estates.

Specialist software is employed to command the aircraft to automatically fly a pre-programmed flight over the area of interest and captured a large number of overlapping images. These are processed using web-based applications to produce a stitched vertical image or map of the farm or estate and a topographical map with different heights colour coded (see below). The mapping accuracy can be as little as a few centimetres per pixel and the maps detailed to show crops and furrows.
